There are specific commands in the Javascript Engine (JINT) relating to Creatio Only.

# getGUID - This is used where you have the "Name" value and need the Guid ID. You would use this for an integration where Id's would not map but you could map the Names. Only one result is returned so this depends on the Name value being unique. Otherwise use querydb.

- Parameters (a) COLLECTION (b) FILTER
- returns GUID value
EG
<nowiki> >var _accInGuid = di.getGUID("AccountIndustry","Consulting");
</nowiki>

2. getLookup - This is used where you query a collection but need the Name value so a person can read this rather than the Guid value.
- Parameters (a) COLLECTION (b) GUID
<nowiki> - returns NAME field value from COLLECTION </nowiki>
EG
<nowiki> >var _accInName = di.getLookup("OpportunityStage","c2067b11-0ee0-df11-971b-001d60e938c6"); </nowiki>

OR you can also pass in the field (Default is Name)

<nowiki> >var _accInName = di.getLookup("OpportunityStage","c2067b11-0ee0-df11-971b-001d60e938c6","Name"); </nowiki>

3. var ent=di.getEntityById(ENTITY,ENTITYID)

eg
<nowiki>
var _contact = di.getEntityById("contact","590f5617-49ce-48f1-acbb-0f7de14d38ba")
</nowiki>
This runs EG

Example walk through

A. Add Creatio as a server

For Creatio: eg.addserver creatio "<ALIAS>" "<URL>" "<USERNAME>" "<PASSWORD>"

Syntax:

>addserver creatio "<ALIAS>" "<URL>" "<USERNAME>" "<PASSWORD>"

EG

>addserver creatio "live2026" "https://live2026.creatio.com" "Supervisor" "********"

This sets up creatio as a connection in the App

B.

List the tables(collections) in the system

>dbtables
You can filter also

>dbtables acc%
[[File:Creatio describe.png]]

C.

See the columns in a table (collection)

>describe Account

And view a column

>describe Account Createdbyid
[[File:Creatio field props.png]]

----

Filter strings and comparison commands

eq - equals/=
ne - not equals/!=/<>
ge - greater than or equals/=
le - less than or equals/=
contains - a string contains a value
Strings only
contains(Name,'a')

----

Dates

Date values must be in ISO format

filter=StartDate ge ${from} and StartDate le ${to}

Example ISO format

2025-05-08T10:24:01.564Z

using the Javascript engine you can get this as follows:

var date = new Date();
date.setDate(date.getDate() - 1); //yesterday
var from = date.toISOString();

----

Id fields (typically defined as GUID types) expect the "Id" value of the lookup table if used in a comparison

EG

$filter=Owner/Id eq 410006e1-ca4e-4502-a9ec-e54d922d2c00 and stage/id ne a9aafdfe-2242-4f42-8cd5-2ae3b9556d79

So if you have only the string (EG Qualification) you need to get the Id value. You can use "querydb" or a method designed for this called "getGuid"

EG in jint

var _accInGuid = di.getGUID("OpportunityStage","Qualification")

ref: https://creatio.crmtogether.com/index.php?title=DI_Jint
----

Query some data

querydb <ENTITY> "<FILTER>" "<COMMALISTOFFIELDS>" "<ORDERBY>" "<CUSTOMPARAMS>" <ENTER>

Example

>querydb Account "contains(Name,'a')" "Id,Name" "NAME ASC"

[[File:Creatio querydb.png|thumb]]

---

So of course this is a fairly basic example. What about GUID fields. Lets say the requirement is to get the data into a Data mart of warehouse and really we dont want or need the GUID but we do need the translation or lookup code so people can write simpler queries in SQL.

To do this you use

getLookup

Params are
* Collection to lookup for the value
* Field to use
* Column name in island dataset

EG

>querydb Opportunity "" "Id,Title,{getLookup('OpportunityStage','StageId','StageCode')}" "Title DESC"

[[File:Creatio_getlookup.png]]

and when we push this to the Data Islands cloud you can see the data

[[File:Creatio_getlookup_trans.png]]

So this is the equivailent of a join in SQL to get the data a user can see in a report for example.

Its ideal if you need the data to upload to a reporting tool like PowerBI for example. Or import the island into a local database to use with a reporting tool of choice or import to a CSV and use in Excel.

For Creatio: eg.addserver creatio "<ALIAS>" "<URL>" "<USERNAME>" "<PASSWORD>"

>addserver creatio "<ALIAS>" "<URL>" "<USERNAME>" "<PASSWORD>"

>addserver creatio "live2026" "https://live2026.creatio.com" "Supervisor" "********"

This sets up creatio as a connection in the App

B.

List the tables(collections) in the system

>dbtables
You can filter also

C.

>describe Account Createdbyid

----

Filter strings and comparison commands

eq - equals/=
ne - not equals/!=/<>
ge - greater than or equals/=
le - less than or equals/=
contains - a string contains a value
Strings only
contains(Name,'a')

----

Dates

Date values must be in ISO format

filter=StartDate ge ${from} and StartDate le ${to}

Example ISO format

2025-05-08T10:24:01.564Z

using the Javascript engine you can get this as follows:

var date = new Date();
date.setDate(date.getDate() - 1); //yesterday
var from = date.toISOString();

----

Id fields (typically defined as GUID types) expect the "Id" value of the lookup table if used in a comparison

EG

$filter=Owner/Id eq 410006e1-ca4e-4502-a9ec-e54d922d2c00 and stage/id ne a9aafdfe-2242-4f42-8cd5-2ae3b9556d79

So if you have only the string (EG Qualification) you need to get the Id value. You can use "querydb" or a method designed for this called "getGuid"

EG in jint

var _accInGuid = di.getGUID("OpportunityStage","Qualification")

querydb <ENTITY> "<FILTER>" "<COMMALISTOFFIELDS>" "<ORDERBY>" "<CUSTOMPARAMS>" <ENTER>

Example

>querydb Account "contains(Name,'a')" "Id,Name" "NAME ASC"

[[File:Creatio querydb.png|thumb]]

---

So of course this is a fairly basic example. What about GUID fields. Lets say the requirement is to get the data into a Data mart of warehouse and really we dont want or need the GUID but we do need the translation or lookup code so people can write simpler queries in SQL.

getLookup
Params are
* Collection to lookup for the value
* Field to use
* Column name in island dataset

EG

==== How email matching works ====
Emails all have a unique ID and when an email is filed to Creatio an activity record is created.
This unique ID is set in the "Notes" field of the Activity record for emails saved to creatio.

If the email has already been filed against say an opportunity then this "opportunity" record will be in the matches.

For emails not previously filed the email from address is used to match on the

* Contact (Primary Email)
* Lead (Primary Email)
* Account (domain from Web value)

..coming Feb 26
* Email Conversation Id - this is stored when an email is saved
* Contact (Any Email)
* Account (Any Email)
* Lead (Primary Email)
* Account (domain from Web value)

==== How does Account matching work ====
We have an Account (Accom) with

Web = https://www.accom.com

and there is an email from

jane@Accom.com

and this matches to this "Accom" record as the email domain "Accom.com" is in the Web value "https://www.accom.com"

==== Smart Matching-coming Feb 26 ====

Note this is enabled by default. Also this only checks Activities created within the last 90 days for speed reasons.

The email conversion id is used to find a match.

Some examples

The first example is from a match on the email id (entryid) and so the email had been filed against this record.
==== Smart Matching ====

'''NOTE THIS FEATURE HAS BEEN DISABLED FROM 8TH JAN 2026 AS USERS FOUND SOME RESULTS CONFUSING.'''

Note this is enabled by default. Also this only checks Activities created within the last 30 days for speed reasons.

For emails in the sent folder or new emails that have not been filed the system will use some matching logic to try show the correct record.

The system will search on subject, sender and the first to address in various orders and the results will show how the match was made and a confidence level.

Some examples

The first example is from a match on the email id (entryid) and so the email had been filed against this record.

[[File:oppo match1.png|300px]]

The second example here has used the subject and an email address to find a match as the email had not been previously filed.
Then you attach files and those are available in the dialog.

'''Address Book'''

This allows users to search all contacts with email addresses and add those to the email TO/CC and BCC.

Accelerator Outlook Integration for Creatio is now available on the Microsft App Source Store
Please note that Microsoft say that "Users might need to relaunch the relevant Office application to see view the add-in icon on the ribbon. Add-ins can take up to 72 hours to appear on the ribbon."
** Admin Consent Flow Setup **

Note: As of April 2025 we were required to use the MSGraph API. Users will therefore be prompted to allow access to their emails. In some cases administrator consent is required.

[[File:Admin Consent Flow Setup.png|300px]]

To do this administrators should open the url [https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/adminconsent?client_id=28f7c67e-6631-4b43-9755-a34ec1ba8c7e&redirect_uri=https://appaccreatio.crmtogether.com here] and provide consent here.

What is this?

This is a block configured within Outlook/Outlook 365 and an Admin for Outlook/Office365 needs to resolve this.

<nowiki>https://docs.azure.cn/en-us/entra/identity/enterprise-apps/admin-consent-workflow-overview</nowiki>

To allow users to control what can/cannot be installed:

Sign into your Office365 administrator account.

Click Settings -> Org Settings.

In the User consent to apps section, ensure the checkbox is ticked.

Click "Save Changes".

This will prompt users and confirm that they want to grant access to the permissions across all Microsoft Add-Ins. If that level of access is not desired, a workflow can be setup to allow administrators to approve requests using the “admin consent workflow”. For information on configuring that workflow, please see Microsoft's help page:
[https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/manage-apps/configure-admin-consent-workflow Configure the admin consent workflow]

Further information on managing consent within Outlook is available via Microsoft here:
[https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/manage-apps/manage-consent-requests Manage consent to applications and evaluate consent requests]

----

Note: If you deploy as an administrator it can take hours to deploy the client. This is down to Microsofts system. We have no control over this.

Typically if a user can deploy from within the Outlook add it should install immediately or very soon.
