When you file an email against an opportunity an Activity record is created and marked against the opportunity and any linked Account and/or Contact.

Compose Mode

You can Save emails before sending them. This saves having to switch to the Sent Items folder to save an email you sent (or are sending). Note this will not set the Filed flag on the email in the sent items.

Email Saved Flag

Emails that have already been Filed/Saved to Creatio will have this Orange email icon as a flag
